Aerodromes and Airspace
Through years of experience, SIG Aviation has a solid understanding of both the land and airborne aspects related to efficient and safe aerodrome operations.
For the ground based aspects, we understand thoroughly the ground handling processes. This allows for pragmatic compliance and safety analyses and infrastructure design and layout, always based on operational experience. Our expertise is usually applied to ensure compliance with ICAO Annex 14 and/or EASA Aerodrome regulations, or to optimise safety.
For the airborne aspects, SIG Aviation mainly provides operational expertise on Instrument Procedure designs to ensure design proposals contain operational expertise. In addition, we provide risk assessments on obstacles in the surrounding of aerodromes or air routes.
